# Queries

Before querying, make sure that you have the appropriate subscriptions in place. Remember that you can always use the Mercury web app to create and view your subscriptions.

All the querying is done through our GraphQL endpoint (see [Endpoints](/~/changes/KX2wpglbthtd9RsHwz3R/get-started-with-mercury/endpoints.md)), and you can test these out first in the GraphiQL endpoint.

Note that currently there are only a few queries, and new ones can be added on request. If you cannot find the appropriate query for what you need, ask on our [Discord server](https://discord.gg/FK28WWHKyb).
